Orange County Homes
Our primary goal at Maven Home Inspection is to help ensure you buy a house you’ll love for years to come. With our 21+ years of related industry experience, strong customer service skills, and detail-oriented approach, we find things that other inspectors might miss. We also utilize some of the industry’s most high-tech equipment to provide you with results you can trust.
Our inspection tools include:
With thermal imaging, we’re able to find issues that are invisible to the naked eye. This innovative tool can find leaks in walls, missing insulation, hot spots, and energy loss. In some cases, it can even point out potential pest infestations inside the walls.
Aerial Drone Photography
Walking roofs isn’t always safe or practical. Fortunately, aerial drone photography can document the entire roof’s condition. Because the drone isn’t constrained by human limits, it can also look closely at any areas of the roof that aren’t safe to walk on.
Any areas in the home that are accumulating moisture could become very problematic in the future. Among the many problems presented by moisture is the risk of mold growth. We use a moisture meter to locate any areas in the home with excessive moisture.

- Interior (doors, windows, floors, walls, ceilings, stairs)
- Electrical Systems
- Plumbing Systems
- HVAC Systems
Without a Pre-Listing Inspection, sellers can’t know for sure what shape their property is in.
Learning this information matters because you don’t want to get all the way to the inspection phase with a buyer only for them to back out after finding out about something you didn’t disclose.
Sellers who schedule this inspection service gain the opportunity to repair any major issues, thereby making their home more appealing to buyers.
New Construction Inspection
A brand-new home is a dream come true for most buyers. But one thing that many of these buyers don’t realize is that even newly constructed properties often have issues such as construction shortcuts and defects.
Protect your investment with our New Construction Inspection service. We’ll carefully walkthrough the property, followed by giving you a detailed report with our findings.
If you’re like most people in Orange County, CA, you’ve had at least one warranty run out right before something went wrong with a major purchase such as a new car. Don’t let the same thing happen to you with your newly constructed home. The reality is that most things don’t break overnight, but the problem only gets noticed when something stops working properly.
We provide an 11-Month/Builder’s Warranty service that includes a thorough inspection of everything in your home that’s covered by your warranty. This will give you time to file a claim before the first year comes to an end.
Home Maintenance Inspection
Your home was expensive; be sure to protect your investment with regular Home Maintenance Inspections. This service includes an inspection of your home’s critical systems and components.
We often find minor issues during these inspections that would have turned into major repair bills down the road. By being proactive, you can keep your home in better shape and greatly reduce your home repair expenses.
Many insurance companies require a 4-Point Inspection before they’ll extend a policy for older properties. This inspection service does not act as a replacement for a Buyer’s Home Inspection.
However, it does let the insurer know the condition of the home’s most critical systems. We’ll inspect the roof, the HVAC system, plumbing, and electrical, along with their associated components.
Your Buyer’s Home Inspection points out any existing issues with the house. The next step is to create a home repair addendum and get the buyer to agree to any necessary repairs.
After which, you’ll want to book a Re-Inspection to verify that everything has been completed as promised. Failure to double-check the house with a Re-Inspection before you close on it could leave you responsible for repairing anything the owner missed.
We will inspect your prospective home’s sewer system for signs of damage and assess maintenance needs.
A functioning sewer system is critical to a property’s cleanliness and safety, and every homebuyer should consider scheduling this inspection before agreeing to terms with the seller of the home.
